Introducing Rebecca as Judy Bernly 💛
✨ Having spent years training and performing from a young age, I am overjoyed to be playing the role of Judy in Limelight’s performance of ‘9 to 5’ the Musical - what a dream! This is my first show with Limelight and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with this wonderful cast and creative team. I’m excited to continue my journey collaborating with like-minded creatives who share my passion for bringing stories to life through Musical Theatre. Enjoy the show!

We’re so excited to bring SIX: Teen Edition to such a historic venue, which actually has a lot of history linking it to the story! Wolsey’s Gate sits right on the doorstep, which (along with St. Peter’s itself) is the only obvious reminder of a school founded by Thomas, Cardinal Wolsey, a native of Ipswich who rose to become the most powerful man in the kingdom under Henry VIII. Unfortunately Wolsey fell from power over his failure to secure papal approval for Henry VIII to divorce his first wife, Catherine of Aragon, and was arrested for treason but died before he could be put on trial. Construction of the school then ground to a halt, but not until after some major redesigning of St. Peter’s took place, and the gate was built, which can all still be seen to this day!

Limelight Performers!
The new local theatre group in Suffolk.
Welcome to Limelight Performers! We are an amateur musical theatre group and registered charity based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We produce high quality productions throughout the year, across a mix of different age groups (9+), performing in various wonderful local venues, and are always aiming to make theatre accessible to as many people as possible. To do this, we keep our ticket prices and membership fees as low as we can - and hold open auditions for all productions which anyone can attend. We create a variety of opportunities year round, and hope you'll join us to see what we do or have your chance to be 'in the limelight' too!

DID YOU KNOW.... You can support us for free?!
There's lots of ways you can support us (see here for details), but did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Limelight Performers with easyfundraising?
There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.
All you need to do is:
