✨ A huge congratulations to Dylan! ✨
We had a lovely afternoon at the NODA East Region District 12 Awards, celebrating the fantastic achievements of local theatre groups and performers. We were especially proud to see Dylan receive a Certificate of Merit for his work as a Young Creative on our production of The Wizard of Oz Youth Edition back in February! 🌟
Dylan worked alongside our Creative Team, contributing to all aspects of the production, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without him! 💚
Dylan’s journey with Limelight began back in 2022, when he joined us as a cast member in our very first youth production, Legally Blonde Jr. Since then, he’s performed in numerous shows with us, shifted into the role of Young Creative, and become a regular member of the Limelight Young Performers team, as well as joining the Creative Team for Sister Act Jr a couple of months ago!
It’s been wonderful to see Dylan grow and develop with us over the years, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything he’s achieved. Congratulations again, Dylan! 👏💫
It was also fantastic to see so many people from across the region being celebrated and to catch up with friends from our wonderful local theatre community, including many familiar faces from other groups who are also part of Limelight Performers family. ❤️

The local theatre group in Suffolk putting community first
Welcome to Limelight Performers! We are an amateur musical theatre group and registered charity based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We produce high quality productions throughout the year, across a mix of different age groups (9+), performing in various wonderful local venues, and are always aiming to make theatre accessible to as many people as possible. To do this, we keep our ticket prices and membership fees as low as we can - and hold open auditions for all productions which anyone can attend. We create a variety of opportunities year round, and hope you'll join us to see what we do or have your chance to be 'in the limelight' too!

DID YOU KNOW.... You can support us for free?!
There's lots of ways you can support us (see here for details), but did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Limelight Performers with easyfundraising?
There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.
All you need to do is:
1. Go to https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/limelightperformers/?utm_campaign=raise-more and join for free.
2. Every time you shop online, go to easyfundraising first to find the site you want and start shopping, or install their browser extension and let it do all of the work for you!
3. After you’ve checked out, the retailer will make a donation to Limelight Performers at no extra cost to you whatsoever!
There are no catches or hidden charges and Limelight Performers will be really grateful for your donations.
Thank you for your support.
