The very first production for Limelight Performers, exactly 7 years ago today! This was over a year before we formed as a charity, but a lovely way to start off the group - featuring a number of our founding trustees, as well as a few friends from across the local theatre scene, performing pieces from the start of Musical Theatre right up to the present day!

The local theatre group in Suffolk putting community first
Welcome to Limelight Performers! We are an amateur musical theatre group and registered charity based in Ipswich, Suffolk. We produce high quality productions throughout the year, across a mix of different age groups (9+), performing in various wonderful local venues, and are always aiming to make theatre accessible to as many people as possible. To do this, we keep our ticket prices and membership fees as low as we can - and hold open auditions for all productions which anyone can attend. We create a variety of opportunities year round, and hope you'll join us to see what we do or have your chance to be 'in the limelight' too!

There's lots of ways you can support us (see here for details), but did you know that whenever you buy anything online – from your weekly shop to your annual holiday – you could be raising free donations for Limelight Performers with easyfundraising?
There are over 4,000 shops and sites on board ready to make a donation – including eBay, Argos, John Lewis, ASOS, Booking.com and M&S – and it won’t cost you a penny extra to help us raise funds.
All you need to do is:
