Limelight Young Performers
Come and join our new weekly theatre school, working towards full scale musical productions!
Where & When
We will be running sessions for 9 to 18 year olds, 6.30-8.30pm every Tuesday during term time (with breaks during school holidays). We're planning to start after the Easter Holidays in 2025, subject to confirmation. We also run holiday projects, including workshops with wider age ranges, which you can find out more about below!

We're delighted to be working alongside the Performing Arts department at Suffolk New College, with the vast majority of our rehearsals and workshops taking place there.

Limelight Young Performers will be run in a similar way to our popular 'show in a week' projects, but with more time to focus on specific technique & skills building, and to expand on what we can offer in just one week! We'll have a big team leading it, including lots of familiar faces from our other projects, so you'll get to work with lots of different people throughout each term!

Each session will be a workshop style rehearsal, working on specific elements of the upcoming production. We'll be announcing the show for our first production soon, which will be taking place on the 7th & 8th of November 2025, at Dance East in Ipswich.
​
We will also have occasional one-off workshops, focusing on specific technique, other content, and skills in other areas linked to the theatre industry. This project is currently solely for performers, but we hope to add opportunities for those interested in backstage/production later in the year.

We're also looking to add the option to gain additional certifications and offering even more extra benefits, but to start with will be working towards the first show!
Sign Up & Payments
As with all of our projects, we're committed to keeping the arts accessible to as many people as possible, so are keeping membership fees very low at just £25 a month. This would be payable by subscription year round to spread the cost, although the sessions only run term time.
