Miscast Musicals - The show where we break the casting director's rules!
A compilation of everyone's favourite musical theatre songs, performed with a live band by a cast who could never play those characters in the original shows. Think Chicago's "Cell Block Tango" performed by 6 men, or Annie's "Tomorrow" performed by someone much older than 'Little Orphan Annie', or maybe even Grease's "Summer Nights" but with male 'Pink Ladies' and female 'T-Birds'........ We're ripping up the casting rule book, for what promises to be a thoroughly entertaining production full of fantastic music and probably a few laughs too!
Featuring songs from Hamilton, Chicago, Dear Evan Hansen, Grease, Kinky Boots, Les Misérables, Hairspray, The Sound of Music and many more - you won't want to miss it!

Digital Programme
Welcome to our digital programme for Miscast Musicals! Sadly paper products are among the items still advised against because of covid, and so we've made the decision to go digital!
We're so pleased to finally be able to share the full production of Miscast Musicals...... only 465 days after our first online rehearsal! Between the months of struggling to rehearse on Zoom and Google Meet, and then only being allowed 6 people in the rehearsal room for a while (as well as all of the other complications creating a production in a pandemic brings), it's certainly not been an easy road, but we've made it to the end and hope you enjoy!
As well as rehearsing and running various other projects online, over lockdown we became a charity and so really appreciate your support more than ever. There's lots of things you can do to really help us out which we've outlined here - sp please check it out if you can (most of them don't even cost you anything but make a big difference to us!).
We've also got some exciting productions coming up which you can sign up to get involved in here, and are going to be announcing some other projects soon so keep an eye on our social media pages (links above)!
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's been involved in the show in any way - it's been a real team effort to pull it all together and I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we really hope you enjoy the show!

Our cast started rehearsing online over lockdown, and we couldn't resist giving you a sneak peek at the show's opening number (featuring lots of our cast and recorded at home of course)!
This production was originally scheduled to be performed in 2020, but was postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. We also did a preview performance at the New Wolsey Theatre in July 2021 (see here)
